Using Old World techniques and New World materials, we can reproduce most products on site, including replicas for discontinued items and customized pieces for specific customer tastes.

You can commission a piece of furniture from any style or era. Choose any upholstery, finish, stain, paint color, or level of distress, and we will incorporate quality wood, materials, and workmanship with your choices to create beautiful and long-lasting furniture. We utilize superior materials with no veneers whatsoever.

MBW also offers custom bronze statues using the wax-casting method. Our custom bronze is carved and finished by hand. All custom furniture is handmade, so there will be imperfections due to construction methods. Like anything made “the old-fashioned way,” each piece effectively becomes one of a kind, a fact that adds value. Because these pieces are handcrafted from solid hardwoods, an exact replica of existing, mass-produced items is impossible.

Our artisans and woodworkers employ old-world construction and finishing techniques with top-grain materials in order to craft exquisite furniture. Since we are involved with every aspect of construction, we maintain direct control over the process and outcome. Satin Painted Finish – Standard semi-gloss finish; Wax Polish Finish – Matte finish ideal for an antiqued look. French wax is applied by hand using traditional brush; NC Gloss Finish – Gloss finish with lacquer layer that will give more protection to the wood surface.

Discontinued Products & Custom Replicas
Many people buy parts of a matching collection, one piece of furniture at a time. Frequently, collectors find that the final piece of the collection is unavailable because the manufacturer discontinued it. Our crafters can create your furniture to match such discontinued or hard-to-find pieces. Like any customization at MBW, you can further modify your furniture with any upholstery, finish, stain, paint color, or level of distress.

Our skilled woodworkers can recreate any piece of furniture conceivable in order to match your existing décor. MBW provides a wide variety of choices in regard to materials, finishes, upholstery, and hardware. Each piece is kiln-dried, hand-carved, built, and custom finished to your exact specifications, thus creating a piece that will last for generations to come.
